This practice uses many traditional ashtanga poses and non-traditional yoga poses woven together in a fluid format to challenge and stimulate the body's systems. It is a heat creating practice, which cleanses, massages and invigorates the body, eliminating toxins and allowing you to operate with increased vigour and vitality. Enjoyment is the key!! We move through sun salutations, standing poses…moving gradually to the floor postures and a concluding the class with a long relaxation. Creating a sense of strength, presence and equilibrium through the body and mind. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned ashtangi this style promises to spice up your yoga life.
Yoga is a hugely beneficial practice for pregnant women and their babies. Many midwives recommend yoga as low impact, safe method of keeping fit and mobile throughout pregnancy. Small community classes provide a great opportunity to share your experience with other Mums in the area. Using breath, movement and relaxation, these classes aim to promote vitality and well-being. Helping to make your pregnancy as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Carly is Mum of 2 girls and practiced yoga through both her pregnancies. She uses her yoga, Pilates and anatomical knowledge, as well as her own experience to inform her pregnancy yoga classes. All welcome no previous experience of yoga required.

Using the balancing yoga postures to build strength from the feet up through the body, gentle weight bearing to increase bone density and specific pilates exersizes to tone and re-engage abdominals and pelvic floor.
